About 20,000 Filipinos, (7 percent of Jersey City’s population) make the city their home; therefore, it stands to reason that there would be many Filipino-owned restaurants in the area.

The expansive Liberty State Park, which spans 1,212 acres, is the ideal setting for a laid-back activity like a casual bike ride or a stroll through the park. Visit the Tear Drop Memorial.
As a symbol of “To the Struggle Against World Terrorism,” the Tear Drop Memorial is a fitting tribute. This Zurab Tsereteli sculpture, which stands ten stories tall, was presented to the United States by the Russian government as a gift in honour of those who perished in the September 11 attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Although there are sad recollections of this location, it is a peaceful place to take in the sights of the lake.
