Once you’ve spent the day checking out all of the sights, indulge yourself with a healthy portion of fish and chips or a Sunday roast at a local pub. You may have heard that London’s dining scene is underwhelming, but that is the furthest thing from the truth. London is actually a culinary haven. Don’t believe us? Well, you’ll just have to go find out for yourself, won’t you?

One thing that you should keep in mind before booking your trip is that London’s hotel prices are notoriously high. Many travelers with less-flush bank accounts will probably cringe when looking at the lodging rates there. To save a few pounds, book your accommodations well in advance or consider the option of reserving a vacation rental or staying in an Airbnb.
